Teri Hansen has spent most of her career helping businesses and people stay organized, supported, and moving forward. She began doing accounting and bookkeeping work while she was still in college and then started her own company providing those services more than 25 years ago. Along the way, she also spent about 15 years as CFO for a chain of health clubs.

In her early 40s, Teri decided to make a major career change and returned to graduate school to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She now works full-time as a Marriage Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in her private practice, Teri Hansen Counseling.

She still keeps one foot firmly planted in the business world, managing the accounting, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes operations for Written in Red Training. Teri enjoys bringing together both sides of her background—the practical, detail-oriented business side and the people-centered work she does as a therapist.
